Who the hell cares?

Editor's Note: just people who love america.

# 2. 6/25/12 7:25 AM
RINO

Editor's Note: yes, collins is.

# 3. 6/25/12 7:43 AM by Jim - Rochester
So he won't come on your show to be abused by you and your callers. Neither would I, neither would any self respecting individual!

WAY too much ego here Bob!

Editor's Note: the largest republican audience between new york city and cleveland, and he doesn't want to talk to it. i agree. he has way too much ego. hopefully tomorrow we can take it down a peg or two.

I hope Bellavia wins, but not in my district; however I will champion Mitt Romney to anyone who will listen.

We badly need a leader who has experience in business and administration.

We have had many presidents who were lacking in business experience, but most of them surrounded themselves with the best they could find to make up for this.

I believe this has where Barack Obama has failed badly, surrounding himself with cronies, like minded individuals who also lack experience in business and administration, people who champion ideals over common sense.

I seems congress is also filled with these folks, lack of common sense and idealism over practicality runs rampant, in both parties right now and we need true leadership now more than ever.

I hope when November comes and it is actually time to pull the lever that folks forget about the class warfare, the racial division, I pray they take a close look at the last four years and then vote for the best person to get America back on track.

It's a shame Collins is so arrogant. He had the same reputation here in the Buffalo area. But all you have to do is look at the results he had turning Erie County's finances around. I'd pick Bellavia for this one but Collins is better than Hochul.

# 6. 6/25/12 8:15 AM by Bart - Webster
I think that your main excuse for not voting for Chris Collins is that he won't come on your show is egotistical. Especially petty is your plan to vote for Democrat Kathy Hochul if Ballavia doesn't get the Republican nomination. (Has Hochul been on your show?) You go on and on about politicians who kiss up to various special interests in order to get elected. What makes your backside any more appealing or legitimate? Let some air out of that big head of yours, Bob.

Editor's Note: i'll vote for the second amendment candidate. bellavia and hochul get good marks from the nra. collins signed the bloomberg anti-gun initiative.

thumbsup.gif right on! good for you.

thumbsdown.gif You are very disrespectful to many of your guests. You interrupt. You hang up on them. You hum and make juvenile background noises while they speak. I don't blame anyone for not ignoring your request.

thumbsup.gif I AM voting for David Bellavia. I've heard Bob talk about David's service to his country and how hard he has tried over the past few years to continue serving as a representative of NY in the US Congress. I didn't think I personally would have the opportunity to vote for David because of previous district boundaries. I was so pleasantly surprised in several ways last week when I opened my door around 5:30 p.m. to David himself who was going door to door to registered Republican voters. I strongly endorse, support, and will vote for David on Tuesday, June 26.

thumbsup.gif Bob,

DAVID BELLAVIA is our choice, but what chance does he have with most if not all of the big money going to his apponents... It`s like pissing in the wind as usual supporting the good guys....

And Romney`s Bain Capital buying up succesful companies, selling their assets and then bankrupting the company to lay off all the workers... This is known as vulture capitalism or corporate raiders... And how could he really care for us non elites, especially when he ties his dog to the top of his car when going to Canada to vacation? Would he treat us the people the same as his dog?

Unlimited corporate money now is going to finance both Romney and Obama... two peas in the same pod... The name of the game seems to be the destruction of the USA for global governess where we all will be slaves!

When it comes to wealth, we are a very unrepresentative society. We are ruled almost entirely by the rich.

# 12. 6/25/12 9:55 AM by ohmetoo - Buffalo
How are you supposed to win an election without either a.) selling your soul to special interests that will fund your campaign, or b.) having enough personal wealth to pay for your own campaign so you don't have to do the former?

Frankly I want MORE self-made millionaires in Congress.

# 13. 6/25/12 9:59 AM by Jack - Lester
I once read an article about how wealthy our Presidents are. The wealthiest President we ever had was Washington

If Mitt wins we will have a new record.

# 14. 6/25/12 10:50 AM by Bart - Webster
Bob: You stated the main reason you won't vote for Chris Collins is that he won't go on your show. In your reply to #6 you state "Editor's Note: i'll vote for the second amendment candidate. bellavia and hochul get good marks from the nra. collins signed the bloomberg anti-gun initiative."

You made no mention of this in your editorial. Why were you withholding this part of your rationale from your article?

Editor's Note: i also won't vote for someone who parks in a handicapped slot when they're not handicapped. another ding on collins.

thumbsup.gif #2 "RINO" "Editor's Note: yes, collins is...."

The purpose of the Tea Party is to weed out these RINOs before the general election.

I don’t know so much about Bellavia as a candidate, though I’m a little concerned about his party affiliation generally. Because the main thing with this election is that we have to re-elect Obama in November. If we don't, we will be sending a message to the 1% that we actually and fully support their continued consolidation and aggrandizement of money and power in this country. Aside from taking money directly out of our pockets, this further entrenches them in the halls of power as we continue to blindly and loudly and stupidly vote against our own interests, and that of our families. This is continued, one-way wealth redistribution – from the 99% to the 1% - which is certainly our country going in the wrong direction.

Obama may not be perfect, but he is trying to do the right thing. Let’s help him.

Editor's Note: let's help him go back to kenya

# 17. 6/25/12 11:35 AM by Patrick - Syracuse
Best of luck to David Bellavia. Have you got a favorite horse in the race for the Republican Senate nomination? For what it's worth, I'm hoping to pit our good looking candidate against their good looking candidate.

Editor's Note: wendy long

I have met Kathy Hochul and was very impressed with her. She is focused on constituent service and a common sense approach to issues. David Bellavia may be a good man, but he will have a tough time defeating Rep. Hochul.

thumbsup.gif I enjoyed your column. And if this disabled Vietnam Combat Veteran were allowed to vote, I would vote for him. I feel there is positive energy in his campaign and demeanor. He appears to be sincere, and genuine, and I am told I AM a fairly good judge of character. Thank you for letting me comment.

I think I'll have a bowl of soup for lunch.

# 21. 6/25/12 12:17 PM by john - rochester
Collins will win the primary going away. Erie County Republicans have screwed things up so bad that Hochul will win in November. It's shocking that a democrat will represent that district. The worst part is that nobody can hold the Erie County Republican leadership accountable. Two years from now we'll have another millionaire suit running for an office he thinks he's entitled to.

Editor's Note: everything you write makes sense, except for the first sentence. i will be interested in seeing how the election turns out. i think bellavia honestly has a chance. i sure hope so. but only time will tell.

# 22. 6/25/12 2:04 PM by Jimmy the Greek
Your daughter is marring a kid who just graduated from high school LAST WEEK.

OMG!!

We just started an office pool on how long the marriage will last. You want in on the action.

Editor's Note: either one of them are better people than you

"Editor's Note: let's help him go back to kenya"

as a democrat I agree and if you had 2 braincells you would want Romney sent back to Mexico where he was born. We need real americans to run and better candidates

Editor's Note: romney's dad was born in mexico, to american citizens.

# 24. 6/25/12 4:03 PM by Joe - Rochester
Fellow liberals (both of you)!Join me in trying to keep Maggie off Bob's program so that he will have to write a column supporting Louise.

Editor's Note: maggie might as well start packing her bags, and louise might as well start writing her memoir.

thumbsup.gif I'm a huge supporter of David Bellavia. He will get my vote tomorrow. You'll see me coming, I'll be wearing my BELLAVIA FOR CONGRESS T-SHIRT. Best of luck Mr. Bellavia.

thumbsup.gif Please come back to Utah....

# 27. 6/25/12 6:03 PM
I really don't care where Romney's dad was born. But it does irk me when we get a scammer like Obama elected. I can tolerate an African-American, but Obama seems like neither. He must be a commie mole. There is no other explanation.

thumbsup.gif #22: "Marring" Really? I sure hope you didn't procreate and further dilute the gene pool!

Another interesting primary is between Hatch and LijenQuist. LijinQuist will give Hatch a run for his Money. But unless Hatch is one of the three nephites like some dnews opinion writers say he will die in the senate though he says this will be his last term. 84 when he is out. Doubt he will break Strom Thurmonds record. Unless he can figure out how to live as long.

Editor's Note: hatch wins by a mile
