thumbsup.gif A couple years ago that blonde chick from the Dixie Chicks wore a shirt that said simply "FUTK"

She was in a feud with Toby Keith.

I mean, yours is a new twist and it's cool that the vowels line up so it's a word, but just so you know, it's been done before.

I checked out the store, I'd definitely get someting, but the options are too limited right now. Get me something a little trendier.

Editor's Note: actually, as anyone who's not been in suspended animation for the last 40 years knows, it's been done forever. were that not so, no one would get it, you frigging moron.

thumbsup.gif Outstanding Bob. This beats the hell out of the Bristol, Levi & Baby soap opera.

I have been saying for two years "FUBO" in long tongue every time he is on the radio or TV.

Now I can just say "FOO-BOW" without the wife beating me with the broom. Thanks Sir. Order forthcoming. A happy FUBO to all.

thumbsup.gif Already the Obama administration has done more damage to this country than the most strident doomsayers were saying before the election. Until now, politics in America has been like football- you'd get passionate about your team, but whoever won or lost really didn't impact your personal well-being, or that of your family. Now all that is going to change. The standard of living is going to crash, and all of a sudden, politics will become real for the first time for most Americans. We had a depression 80 years ago, but this time it will be depression plus repression.

We need to realize that this fight isn't so much Democrat vs. Republican, as it is totalitarianism vs. freedom. By dividing us into two supposedly different parties, the statists of both parties have been able to steadily advance their agenda. We need to fight back legally and peacefully now- because I am afraid that those options will soon be gone.

thumbsup.gif Although I'd love to buy a shirt or hat, I don't think I'd be able to wear it around any of my associates.

I wanted to have a FBI hat until a lady I knew (who had a FBI hat) told me it meant Female Body Inspector.

In my line of work it just wouldn't go over very well. But I agree with your premise.

On the Glenn Beck show yesterday (FOX News), he interviewed a lawyer who does some work for the NRA. Seems that Obama isn't going to take our guns. He's just going to pass laws like you have to have a Million dollar insurance policy to be able to buy or possess a weapon. There are no insurance companies who will issue this type of policy. Goes along, I guess, with the idea that ammunition will be taxed to the point that you can't afford to buy it. And if you can it will be coded so the government can track every round manufactured.

Watch out, Big Brother Government is now here. We didn't have to wait a couple of years or even 100 days to find out what this Administration is all about, We found out in less than 30 days. What else is hidden in the 1100 page stimulus bill that no one read before they voted for it?

Is it too early to start talking Impeachment? Perhaps he's violated the Carbon Footprint law. He ought to just stay home instead of flying Air Force One all over the country producing tons of the stuff. In one week he's been to Chicago, Denver, Phoenix, and now Canada. How much did those trips cost the taxpayer?

# 6. 2/20/09 5:35 AM by Jason - Webster
thumbsdown.gif Boo,

Afghanistan - You supported Bush's war on terror yet you don't support the war where the terrorist are?

Your guys like Phil Gram created this nightmare. Your guys lost big time.

All I can say is Boo-Foo! And don't ask me what it stands for.

Editor's Note: the terrorists were in afghanistan in 2001 -- which is why we went there in 2001 and killed them.

thumbsup.gif Hay Bob, It took me a bit longer to figure out what FUBO means than it should have. When I did get it I laughed so hard I almost fell off my chair. Kudos to you Bob. Dark days are ahead but at least we still have our sense of humor.

# 8. 2/20/09 6:02 AM by Nick - Irondequoit, NY
This Ron Chapman fellow has nothing over you. All those folks over "there" probably think you're the radio legend who is the unsufferable bore. Weren't you the guy that wrote a month ago that "we Americans have been through worse", "we're tough", "stop whining"? Only a month into the new administration you're whining and griping like an 8-yr old. Awe, poor Bobby. Go play with your guns.

# 9. 2/20/09 6:19 AM by Rich - Livonia, NY
Bob - what are the chances that for the next presidential election (if there is one) that someone that is a TRUE conservative and a conservative "voice" will finally stop making excuses for reasons they haven't run in the past and finally feel it their American duty to run because they know they can easily win and get this country back the way it ought to be.

Yes, I'm calling out: BECK, SAVAGE, LIMBAUGH, HANNITY, COULTER, etc...

When will one of these people with true conservative beliefs and the power to MOVE the conservative base finally buck up and just run.

Seriously. Could you imagine a ticket with two of those names on it?

At least if they lost, we'd know that our country is descending directly toward hell.

# 10. 2/20/09 6:22 AM by Ray S - North Chili, N.Y.
thumbsup.gif Bob, I'm not feeling too good about the way things are rolling out right now myself. Some of these bailouts to help those that should have known better and now don't want to pay the price for their bad decision reeks.

But what does the O in FUBO stand for? (O.K. I'm apparently a SlowHead.)

# 11. 2/20/09 6:26 AM by Durwood - Canandaigua
That's the best idea you've had since mailing the pop cans to the governor. I'm telling ya, listen for the Wagner and the jackboots...

# 12. 2/20/09 6:38 AM by Funny Bunny
I like FUBL better.

And I still think you have nice buns...

Editor's Note: that would be fubob

# 13. 2/20/09 6:40 AM by Al Quiam - USSA
thumbsup.gif As a tax paying American citizen, I too was far more open minded with our "new" President when he won. Yet, all he wants to speak is downward words towards the working class and transfer wealth - Marxist ideas.

Has o'bama asked the poor and dependent of America to get out and do something positive for America, their homes, neighborhoods or schools? No

Has o'bama asked the poor and dependent on America that times are tough and they too, need to tighten their belts? No

Has o'bama asked the most powerful unions of America - the teachers - for concessions on their contracts to reign in spending? No

Has o'bama added any words toward the wealthy sports athletes whose IQ in total doesn't equal that of half of America's CEO's that they too need to take a pay cut to $500,000 per year? No.

FUBO isn't the word. FOFF-OB might be a better one. We are finished and I will be poor.

# 14. 2/20/09 6:47 AM
thumbsdown.gif FU? Spoken like a true, God-fearing, church going Mormon. Real Christian-like, Bob.

Editor's Note: don't run, you'll only die tired.

# 15. 2/20/09 7:00 AM by Rick G. - Spencerport, NY
thumbsup.gif Man oh man, I though I’d have a chance to rant about forcing construction companies to hire the perpetually stupid just to make some sort of quota, because anyone who knows me knows I’m all about the quota. Quota this, quota that. Here a quota, there a quota. I’ll put this as delicately as possible so as not to offend the ladies or the sensitive - being a NY’er with a construction company, my ass is so sore on some days I can barely sit on my pile of money. No, really, I need more regulations and paperwork and taxes and superfluous insurance so that I can just keep that money pile growing. I’ve got so much spare money in my basement; it’s beginning to rock the house off the foundation.

FUBO? I had to think about that or a second. It took me a while to figure out what OBX meant on the back of all those Subaru Outback’s I kept idling behind on the way to deposit my leftover bags of money at the bank. I’m really good at JUMBLE, so I stared at FUBO for a bit and it came to me. Friends Uf Barack Obama! Wait … no. Well, maybe in city schools. FUBO?

Then it hit me. It hit me as I thought about advice I got when I was a young man. “Pay cash, work hard, support your family.” I thought about my house (paid) my car and truck (paid) my daughter’s college education (paid) my credit card balance (don’t have one) and the check I write for my monthly health care premium ($986.00, no dental). I thought about all those years of working 6 days a week, 10, 12, 14 hour days, breaking my back and getting grayer by the day. I thought about how my wife and I worked and saved so that we could be responsible and retire comfortably. Then I thought about what Mom always said: “God must smile on the stupid.” She also said, “Some people just walk assbackwards into luck.” If Mom weren’t getting a little feeble, she’d probably paraphrase herself by saying that stupid people walk assbackwards into a voting booth. So, yes … when you see a silver Ford F-150 on the west side of town with a FUBO sticker (available at cafepress.com) on the bumper, honk and wave. I’ll gladly tell you what it means.

thumbsup.gif HEY BOB ITS NICE TO SEE YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD IN YOUR COLUMN TODAY. YOU ARE MY ONLY OUTLET NOW BUT IAM SURE IAM NOT ALONE. FUBO JR.

# 17. 2/20/09 7:12 AM by Poplar Beach
Okay Bob, I don't hate it, but like you said I think it is to soon. Our country's nuts are caught in the wringer, and Obama happens to be the maytag repairman on duty, unlike you I don't think he has a serrated knife in his hand just yet and I am willing to give him a bit more time to show he can fix things without permanently maiming the US.

But I agree, his minions make it look like they have just been biding their time, waiting to wage class and race, social warfare on the folks who are the backbone of this great country! I will gladly buy a Reich- FURR bumper sticker, a Holder- FUEH bumper sticker, or a FUNP sticker, (and you should add them to your items for sale) but I will pass on the FUBO sticker for a month or so.

# 18. 2/20/09 7:14 AM by ex-pansy
thumbsdown.gif Nah.

While I am no fan of Barak Obama, and can appreciate the basic sentiment; and I am glad that you found a way to make money in case the Fairness Doctrine knocks talk radio off it's feet; I think I'll pass.

Editor's Note: who possibly gives a good rats arse what you think

# 19. 2/20/09 7:24 AM by Brian
FUBO!

Very creative! I'd prefer a bumper sticker rather to a t-shirt, so keep us posted if more of the stickers become available.

Editor's Note: the sticker should be up at the site by midmorning eastern time.

# 20. 2/20/09 7:32 AM by Marty - Taxville, NY
thumbsup.gif Hey Bob, Great idea, be sure that after you get the sticker on your truck that you report to the Govt. run outlet for your Mileage GPS tracking chip. Just so you also pay your fair share in taxes for the miles you drive each day.

"FUBO" and the horse you rode in on.

# 21. 2/20/09 7:35 AM by ex-pansy

God does.

Profanity is a weak tool used by weak people.

Holy Crap! I LOVE it!! Time to make some flair pins for facebook and internet bumper stickers. I would so flair up my page with a little FUBO!

# 23. 2/20/09 7:49 AM by spaz - Kendall, NY
thumbsup.gif Where are the bumper stickers, Bob? They'd get more exposure, and I want to tell the world FUBO. I can't wear a tee in this weather anyway without covering it up with sweaters and jackets.

Editor's Note: i'm sorry. there's a hold-up with the page.

# 24. 2/20/09 8:05 AM by Mark S. - Rochester, NY
Bob -

I went to the web site and there were no bumper stickers. Did you run out? A sticker would be my preference as more people would see it than a shirt. Please add those if you can.

Editor's Note: i'm sorry. please go back in a couple of hours. the people assure me that the bumperstickers are coming soon.

# 29. 2/20/09 8:22 AM
Midtown Plaza is practically empty right now. But you won't believe what it's costing city taxpayers just to keep it running. City Hall confirmed that it's spending $170,000 a month just to maintain Midtown until its appointment with the wrecking ball.

# 30. 2/20/09 8:27 AM
Ah yes, using the F word promoting a patriotic cry for freedom---by a church going Mormon no less.

Once again, Republicans stuck on stupid.

# 31. 2/20/09 8:29 AM by Poplar Beach
I have been thinking, I need maybe 7 different magnetic stickers, all these liberal folks will piss me off at least once a week, FURR, FUNP, FUEH, FUHR, FUBO, and FUBF, though that one scares me a bit. I know that's only 6; FURL, he pisses me of these days too. How much for the set, two of each?

I'm serious, and I would pay maybe $40 and pre order if you could get it together, but they have to be magnetic ovals.

# 32. 2/20/09 8:35 AM by Dave - Penfield, NY
My wife tells me she thinks somehow we'll be kicking ourselves for skipping the inauguration coverage, and for skipping BHO's first press conference. After all it's historic!

Hogwash. The man is a disaster. Because of his politics and deeds.

None of his men pay taxes (Daschle, Kilfer Emanuel), and now they are suing to get information on American bank accounts? So they can go after taxes?

And don't get me started on the "evil" oil companies, skewered for the price of gasoline barely keeping up with inflation if that. While "BIG UNIVERSITY?" Highest rate of inflation on any product, staggering tuition fees that overwhelm most families. And the stimulus bill just keeps feeding the universities more cash. Research money, tuition assistance, you name it. All in support of even higher tuition.

FUBO

# 33. 2/20/09 8:36 AM
Hey Bob, how about the one saying that Democrats didn't give anyone enough time to read the stimulus bill. I keep hearing that from right wingers.

When I ask them how they liked how the Republicans picked apart every little part of the stimulus bill the right wingers would cheer good for them.

Then I would ask them how they could have picked apart the whole stimulus bill, piece by piece, WITHOUT EVER READING IT!!!

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, stuck on stupid, again.

# 34. 2/20/09 8:37 AM by Richard - Rochester
thumbsdown.gif Well, you did wait a whole month. I'm sure you did your best, Mr. "Those People Must Give Him a Chance."

# 35. 2/20/09 8:37 AM by Steve - Rochester, NY
thumbsup.gif I agree; but using Black aren’t you afraid of the term being labeled racist? That’s the culture we are living in with the new president.

thumbsdown.gif P.A.C.T.

PUT AWAY CHILDISH THINGS

You need to grow up.

Barak is a real problem. And all you want to do is reduce this all to a self-promoting publicity stunt.

Grow up.

# 38. 2/20/09 8:59 AM by Army Vet '72
We used FUBAR (Fouled Up Beyond All Recognition)when I was in the Army. Only we didn't really use the word Fouled. We used a different word with similar meaning.

# 39. 2/20/09 9:10 AM by Snake P
Hey Bob-

OUTSTANDING!!! put me down for a few dozen.

FUBO because we are FUBAR with this bunch of marxist pukes. And FUBO because I don't want BOHICA.

Snake

# 40. 2/20/09 9:11 AM
thumbsdown.gif You know Bob, if someone from a foreign country was reading your column every day, and was forming an opinion of what Americans were really like from it, the conclusion would undoubtedly be that conservative Republicans are juvenile, immature a-holes, and this column proves it yet again today.

I wish that all you Obama haters and liberal haters would get on a bus, drive to Washington and sit down quietly with the president and give him all of your expert views and advice on what should be realistically done with the mess which he inherited from one of YOURS. In other words, EITHER PUT UP OR SHUT UP!

And Jim #16 - tell me again who was the president when you lost your job, and exactly what was HE doing at or before that time to help you? Hmmm, I thought so.....

# 41. 2/20/09 9:16 AM by ken - Tonica, Illinois
thumbsup.gif Out F-cking Standing as we use to say.

# 42. 2/20/09 9:16 AM
Wait a minute, why would Democrats want to bring back the Fairness Doctrine and silence right wing talk radio when right wing talk radio has led the Republican party into abject obscurity. The Democrats control everything now---thank you Rush, Sean, Michael and Glenn.

Editor's Note: actually, that is a pretty good point. whatever the right is doing doesn't seem to be working very well.

# 43. 2/20/09 9:19 AM by Q - Rochester, NY
thumbsdown.gif The mass "Bush is the Antichrist" thing from the left was petty and annoying, and so is this "Obama is the Antichrist" now coming from the right. Everyone calm down and stop with the hatred.

Editor's Note: i don't hate anybody. i love my country. and so i oppose policies which damage it and the people who push those policies. fubo.

# 44. 2/20/09 9:23 AM by GEORGE ( THE OTHER ONE) - GANANOQUE ONTARIO CANADA
*

So, yesterday HE flew directly over my house on HIS way to Ottawa to meet our Prime Minister. I know that HE flew over because the clouds parted, the snow disappeared, the birds began to sing and the flowers came out.

Later in the day the same thing happened as HE flew back to Washington.

If only I could have touched his robe. But I do feel twice blessed.

Does the "U" stand for 'up' or does it stand for 'you'? If it stands for 'up' then I would like a sticker that says "FUBOT". "**** UP BY OBAMA TOO" There is a growing market in Canada.

# 45. 2/20/09 9:27 AM
I can't believe you Lonsberry. I can't believe it was actually your fingers that typed this:

"That I didn’t think throwing 17,000 more troops into Afghanistan without a clear objective was a bright idea. "

MY God! That's where we should have been in the first place after we were atacted on sept 11, 2001 by a group coming from this country.

And talk about "sending troops into a country without a clear objective" !!!!!

I can't believe you can talk out of both sides of you mouth so well.

# 46. 2/20/09 9:27 AM by Rick G. - Spencerport, NY
Maybe you can slip one of those T-shirts on Atlas before he shrugs off the world.

Hey, just trying to do my part to fulfill the daily Atlas Shrugged comment quotient.

# 47. 2/20/09 9:30 AM
I'd like some FUBO bumper stickers.

# 48. 2/20/09 9:31 AM by An actual patriot
thumbsdown.gif Your hypocrisy is breathtaking. Your misrepresentations and lying are beyond shameful. Your selective & false patriotism is disgusting. Your abuse of your position of power and responsibility is immoral bordering on criminal. And your disrespect for the president of the country you say you love puts you on a level with all those whom you've condemned throughout your years of rationalizing the Bush presidency's criminality, constitution-dismantling and incompetence.

These incredible statements of yours put the lie to your whole shtick - "I didn’t think throwing 17,000 more troops into Afghanistan without a clear objective was a bright idea." Hey Bob - this is what Bush was supposed to have done 7 years ago. Instead he invaded & occupied IRAQ, which you fervently supported!! And then there's this gem - "I know that last year it was patriotic to question the president, and that this year it is treasonous..." this is such a 1984-type of a just-the-opposite lie, I'm hyperventilating. And finally, "The Constitution and the Declaration are in the crapper." Look at your man Bush for that one as well, you articulate America-hater.

So keep on crudely trumpeting your ignorance. You may get that pink slip that you seem to be begging for so desperately, and sooner than you may think. It couldn't come soon enough.

Editor's Note: this is what they rant just before the commissar orders the firing squad to shoot

# 49. 2/20/09 9:43 AM by Boomer - Scottsville ny
FUBO is nice . My personal favorite is C4.

# 50. 2/20/09 9:43 AM by Robert Burley - Ontarion NY
thumbsup.gif Great Idea!!

I don't see any bumper stickers available yet though.

Editor's Note: i'm sorry. they are coming quickly. please try again in a bit.
