Receive the Daily Column via Email
Hey, friends, I hate to hit you up for money, but it costs money to send this column out each day. Somewhere there is a computer with the meter running and we've got to feed it. So here's the deal. The column will be available here on this site each day for free. No access charge, no "membership," no special club to join. Just come to the site and read today's column or any of the thousands of archived columns. But, if you'd like the column to appear nicely in your e-mail each weekday morning, that's going to cost money -- $12 for six months in fact. That breaks down to two dollars a month. I feel bad asking for money, but we do live in a mercantile world, and convenience has a cost which I'm merely passing along.
Again, if you don't want to pay, you can come to the site at any time for free. It is only e-mail -- which requires a busy computer operation -- that carries a fee. For each subscription, $2 will be given to charity -- $1 to Army Emergency Relief on behalf of me and $1 to Wease Cares on behalf of the gentleman who hosts the site.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you very much for your patronage and support. I am honored that you read the column each day.
If you prefer, send a check for $12 (six months) or $20 (one year) to:
Bob Lonsberry - Mount Morris, NY 14510
Be sure to include your name and email address.
As an added benefit you will also be able to respond directly via the column's email to post your comments. You will no longer have to enter your name or email, it will automatically be posted for you. (You will still have the option of being anonymous as well.)
Also, all your comments will be viewable by you at any time.
